Porto's Bakery Gift Cards: How They Work

Last checked: October 24, 2026

A Porto's gift card is an easy present for anyone near one of the six Southern California bakeries.

There's one catch worth knowing before you buy: it isn't the same card as the one for Porto's shipped Bake at Home pastries.

Quick answer

How to buy one

Porto's sells its bakery gift cards online. Go to the gift card page on portosbakery.com and choose Purchase a Gift Card.

Porto's page doesn't list the available amounts, so you'll see the options at checkout.

Where you can use it

Porto's says the gift cards are redeemable at all of its bakeries:

• Burbank
• Glendale
• Downey
• West Covina
• Buena Park
• Northridge

The page doesn't say whether the card works for online pickup orders. If you plan to use it that way, ask the bakery first.

Bake at Home needs a different card

Porto's bakery gift cards can't be used at the Bake at Home store, which ships frozen pastries and cakes across the country.

For someone who lives outside Southern California, the Bake at Home eGiftCard is the better gift. It's sold on the Bake at Home store, and they can use it on items like the Cheese Roll or the Milk'N Berries cake.

Checking your balance

Porto's gift card page has a Check Gift Card Balance button. It sends you to Porto's balance checker on storecard.com.

Keep the card number handy. You'll need it to see what's left.

What the page doesn't cover

Porto's gift card page doesn't list amounts, fees, expiration or reload options.

For any of those, use the Contact Us page on Porto's website. We'll update this guide if Porto's adds the details.
