What is the Porto's Cubano?

Porto's builds it with house-made, slow-roasted pork, sweet roasted ham, Swiss cheese and pickles.

The Cuban dressing is mustard, mayonnaise and house seasonings.

It's served on a Cuban roll and pressed, so the bread is flat and crisp and the cheese melts into the pork.

Cubano calories and nutrition

Porto's doesn't publish calories or nutrition facts for its menu, including the Cubano.

We haven't found a reliable third-party figure either, so we're not listing one. If you're tracking calories, ask the bakery or log a similar item and treat it as a rough estimate.

Ingredients and allergens

Porto's describes the Cubano as made with:

  • Slow-roasted pork
  • Sweet roasted ham
  • Swiss cheese
  • Pickles
  • Cuban dressing: mustard, mayonnaise, house seasonings
  • Cuban roll

Porto's doesn't publish an allergen chart. From its own description, the Cubano contains:

  • Wheat, from the Cuban roll.
  • Milk, from the Swiss cheese.
  • Egg, from the mayonnaise.

We can't confirm anything beyond that. Porto's kitchens handle nuts, dairy, wheat and meat, so tell the counter about any allergy before you order.

How to order the Cubano

  1. Order at the café counter. Every one of the six bakeries has a café. Café items aren't part of Porto's online pickup ordering.
  2. Plan for lines. Weekend mornings are the busiest time at every bakery. A weekday visit is usually quicker.
  3. Feeding a group? See our Porto's catering guide for delivery and large pickup orders.
